South Suite
The three room, 50 sqm. South Suite promotes the concept of “spaces – private space, shared space and pamper space”. Entertain in the lounge, slumber in the bedroom or pamper yourself in the 18 sqm. bathroom that features art deco lighting and our signature photographic art works. But whether it's in the walk through rain shower that allows panoramic views of majestic Murray River gums or relaxing in the high back, white and black bathtub, you will be immersed in an environment of luxury as you take in the stunning simplicity of the 1.2 metre, circular stained glass window.
North Suite
Apart from the luxurious super king size bed, it is the three metre high pressed metal ceiling that dominates this 54 sqm. suite. With 180 degree views of historic Corowa through white shuttered windows, this light filled space beckons guests to relax and read on the Le Corbusier day bed; relax and soak in the bathtub while contemplating the beauty of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed stained glass window, before relaxing some more in The Lounge. And if all that relaxing could not possibly be enough, top it off with a Relaxation Massage in The Spa suite.
The North Suite is adjacent to the elevator and has disabled access and facilities.
West Suite
Overlooking the passing parade of the tree lined main street, our largest suite also features a huge 20 sqm. bathroom with an oversize bathtub and French doors leading onto the spacious private balcony. With the full features of the art deco architecture on display, this suite allows guests to truly enjoy the seasons, with the option of opening the French doors to allow a cooling breeze in the summer, or in the cooler months, staying cosy in front of the flickering flames of the fire as the sunshine filters softly through the shuttered windows. After a memorable day and you are preparing to turn in, enjoy your selection from the sleep inducing Nightcap menu and allow images of a different era; of fedoras and gangsters, swing and Billie Holiday prelude your dreams: in a room made for dreaming.
Loveridge Suite
Our most recently added suite captures a personal history of the owner of CIRCA 1936. Sydney Robert Edwin Loveridge was the mayor of Corowa in 1954 and a great grandfather of your host Jen. But ultimately it is all about the LOVE.
The 54m2, light filled north west facing Loveridge Suite has its own private terrace, just perfect for afternoon drinks and taking in the quiet country town goings on, of Sanger Street. The uniqueness of the Loveridge suite becomes obvious when you enter. The rattan fans take you to an exotic place far away. For the hard-working executive, you will find your desk space accommodates your needs while the oversize bathroom, with its trademark CIRCA copper bathtub and iron-wood daybed, will most certainly ensure a host of memorable moments and bring a whole new meaning to your “bath-time experience”.
You are more than welcome.
